Committed to addressing the challenge of deforestation and forest degradation.

We develop, together with landowners, forest carbon projects aimed at protecting biodiversity, promoting sustainable social and economic development of the communities.

This situation, in addition to contributing to the generation of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, represents a threat to the well-being and livelihoods of ejidos and communities.

Voluntary Carbon Markets and their role in the fight against climate change

Voluntary Carbon Markets refer to the issuance, purchase and sale of carbon credits or certificates on a voluntary basis.

In recent years, they have become the most efficient mechanism for companies and organizations committed to the environment to help reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, purchase carbon credits or certificates that guarantee their direct contribution to climate change mitigation, in addition to protecting the forests and jungles of our planet.

Emissions Reduction

Emissions Reduction

It provides opportunities for companies and governments to meet their emission reduction or limitation targets.

Tackle Global Warming

Tackle Global Warming

They are positioned as part of the most cost-effective options to combat the global warming process.

Social Inclusion

Social Inclusion

They have a high potential for generating social benefits by including local and indigenous communities in the receipt of economic income.

Financing Sustainable Practices

Financing Sustainable Practices

They allow the financing of projects for the conservation of forest ecosystems, or the development of sustainable productive practices.

Conservation Benefits

Conservation Benefits

Generate co-benefits in the maintenance of environmental services and biodiversity conservation.

Carbon certificates

1.

What are the
certification standards?

These are mechanisms that not only validate the carbon sequestration generated by the implementation of forest carbon projects over time, but also identify and value the benefits they provide to the community, climate and biodiversity in an integrated and sustainable manner.

2.

How do you check that
the project actually generates benefits?

There are independent bodies that review that the projects will generate positive impacts, under international standards that guarantee their consistency and effectiveness, that seek to ensure additionality, governance, permanence and transparency in each project, as well as to eliminate double counting for effective reductions, robustness of the methodologies of the bodies in charge of certifying credits, in order to contribute to achieving zero emission goals.

3.

What are the certification standards we work with?

The certification standards with which we are currently developing projects are:
