Forest Restoration Project Adolfo de la Huerta

It consists of activities focused on restoring and ensuring the maintenance of the forest landscape, to address the need to increase the income of the people involved and their families, through the trading of carbon credits, which will have the potential to improve their living conditions, while contributing to the fight against climate change and the capture of greenhouse gases.
Environmental Impacts
Approximately 140,000 tons of CO2e will be reduced in 10 years, contributing to the mitigation of climate change and greenhouse gases.
Forest cover will be conserved.
It will help protect endangered species of flora and fauna, including the cedar, or mammals such as the spider monkey or the jaguar.
Social Impacts
We will generate close to 15,000 carbon credits that will support the income of the Ejido, which is predominantly made up of elderly , to strengthen its productive capacities and infrastructure, predominantly in agriculture and forestry.
We will work with the Ejido to complement and promote beekeeping in order to strengthen its productive methods, to generate higher profits, and therefore, better living conditions for all its members.
