
Yalcobá New Forest Restoration Project
The Yalcobá Nuevo ejido forest restoration project consists of conserving and increasing forest cover through activities such as reforestation, the opening of firebreaks, the installation of signage, social and biodiversity monitoring, and the implementation of training workshops. The goal is to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, preserve biological diversity, and improve the living conditions of the ejidatarios.
